my heart just about stopped

I just got an email from my stranded pet sitter. The island where she is staying flooded so their departure is delayed. But we connected and she will be able to take care of the girls. So we just adjusted our plans - we will drive ourselves to her house and she will take us to Dulles Airport after dropping the girls off.
One disaster avoided! Hopefully no more.
