Closure and new plans

Since I could not post from China, it was hard to catch up from home. I missed three weeks worth of three graduate classes and was doing nothing but working and studying for the rest of the year.

In conclusion, this was a trip of a lifetime and I would recommend it to anyone. The country is beyond amazing, especially for us, Americans. There is so much to see and understand, our way of thinking and life does not apply. It is also humbling to see this enormous land with so much potential to catch up to us. It is time to wake up and take the rest of the world into consideration.

As this trip was so enormously successful, mom and I signed for a trip to Jordan and Egypt in March/May 2011 with the same organization, People to People. I will hopefully be able to blog as we go along and post pictures along the way. It is very exciting!

I will probably move the travel blog under my account and post a link here.
